Impact of COVID-19 on Students and Academic Activities

For more than six months the entire world is fighting an invisible enemy (COVID-19) that is probably by far the most dangerous of its kind. When such a catastrophic pandemic strikes, it takes a toll on everything. The health of people gets impacted, businesses come to a standstill, and students who are preparing for their high school exams or entrance exams like jee advance and jee mains free preparation get affected the most. The COVID-19 outbreak has brought academic activity to a complete halt, and students all over the world are dealing with the situation that they were never prepared to manage.

Impact of COVID-19 on Students

With the novel coronavirus spreading fast from one country to another, countries across the world were compelled to shut down schools and colleges. Now, students are sitting at home and are unable to attend their coaching classes or colleges. Stuck inside their homes, one major obstacle that students are facing is how to concentrate on their studies and revision time in the current pandemic situation.

The biggest impact will be on all those students who are about to enter their high school or college. With most educational institutes like schools and colleges have shut down, students who are in the passing period is facing the maximum brunt of this outbreak. Those students who are preparing for important entrance exams such as the NEET and IIT will have a major gap in their understanding of important and crucial topics. This will hinder their performance during the final exams, and many students will be unable to fulfill their ambitions of becoming doctors and engineers.

Students preparing for entrance exams must stay in touch with the subject, but since the virus has reached almost everywhere, no forecast can predict the loss that these students might suffer. It is lucky that since most universities are switching to online classes, there are portals available that provide all the support when it comes to coaching for the NEET and the IIT JEEexams as well.

Just like there are plenty of online classes that help students train for the IIT JEE, several institutes are offering free educationfor poor students who are in high school by providing them free coaching and support. One such platform is Super 30 program of CSRL. Over the years the success of super 30 program has been outstanding with more than 800 students benefited from it.
