Education plays an important role
in an individual’s life. It’s been decades since India gained independence from
British rule, but still, the level of education and its access is not equal for
everyone. For some gaining quality education is very easy while some people
don’t get an opportunity to study in premium colleges and the university of
India. There are various reasons behind this disparity and being poor is one
among them. Many students who are talented and capable of studying in premium
Indian colleges and university, but they don’t get the opportunity due to lack
of resources, proper guidance, and money.
The Center for Social
Responsibility and Leadership recognized the issue being faced by poor and
downtrodden students, hence came up with free coaching for IIT and other
prestigious entrance exams in the country like CAT, NEET, etc. CSRL is a
registered society that works primarily in the field of education. Since its
inception, the society has been growing all across India with its centers in
almost every Indian states.
One of the famous and well-known
programs of CSRL is the super 30 program. It is a residential program of
one-year duration in which poor students get free IIT coaching classes
and mentorship to crack the IIT JEE entrance exam. Apart from guiding students
in cracking entrance exams, the programs also take care of other aspects of
life such as developing leadership quality in students, inculcation good moral
values in them, developing social etiquettes, etc. The overall aim of this program
helps students become better individuals and contribute to the development of
society and the country. The result
of super 30 has been very satisfying with more than 800 students
cleared the prestigious exam and studying in institutes like NIT, IIT, AIIMS,
IIMs, etc.
The CSRL has made free IIT
coaching classes accessible for all who are unable to pay the hefty amount
of money in private institutes. The step has been taken under the corporate
social responsibility scheme in which various corporates put their money for
poor student’s studies. With the aim of making a better society, CSRL has been
working towards it arduously.
